New England Association of Oral History (NEAOH)
The New England Association of Oral History was formed in 1974 and is the oldest regional organization dedicated to promoting oral history. NEAOH is a network of oral historians — both experts and beginners —who work in a variety of disciplines and institutional settings within the New England states. The NEAOH connects teachers, scholars, museum professionals, librarians, archivists and others dedicated to the use of oral history as a method of collecting historical evidence, invigorating teaching and learning, and inspiring new types of presentations about history and culture.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in oral history.
